Le Pavillon de la Piscine restaurant invites you to enjoy a special “Ftour” Menu 

On the occassion of the month of Ramadan, La Mamounia will be offering its guests the unique opportunity to enjoy one of the most lively meals of the year  in an exceptional setting.

Alongside iftar (Ftour) favourites such as chebbakia, sellou, msemen, batbout or baghrire, the hotel’s Head Chef Rachid Agouray will also be whisking together all the traditional culinary delights of Ramadan in true and exceptional La Mamounia fashion.

Traditional Morrocan soups including harira, a wheat soup crushed with thyme, and chorba, a soup with farm raised chicken, vegetables and vermicelli will be available for guests at the time of the Ftour before sunrise and after sunset when fasting ends.

New to this year and sure to become a tradtion, the Ftour will be served at the casual and luxurious Pavillon de la Piscine.

A particular highlight of this culinary occasion are the ‘petits salés’ en ‘pastilla’, customary small pastries filled with delicious and fragrant chicken or lamb flavoured with delicate flaked or ground almonds.

Other delightful menu offerings that are just as tempting include: Aiguillettes of Saint-Pierre, or thin slivers of tender meat, marinated with celery leaves, delicious tagines including khlie with quail egg, lamb brain, tomato and fresh coriander, or skewers of grilled lamb and chicken marinated in aromatic dry mint.

The Ftour at La Mamounia begins at a rate of 400 MAD per person, and is an occasion not to be missed.
