Accessibility:
FROM NORTH AMERICA
Royal Air Maroc flies nonstop from New York or Montreal to
Casablanca virtually daily, with convenient connecting service
(25 minutes) to Marrakech. It is possible to leave New York
or Montreal at 8PM, and be breakfasting on our terrace at
10AM the following morning.
FROM LONDON
Royal Air Maroc and British Airways operates direct flights
from London to Casablanca and Marrakech.
FROM OTHER EUROPEAN CITIES
Royal Air Maroc and many European airlines connect from their
home cities to Casablanca or Marrakech.

Health:
There are no obligatory vaccinations. North American- and European-trained
doctors are available on call at La Mamounia. It is safe to
drink the water at La Mamounia, but elsewhere in Marrakech and
Morocco, we suggest you drink bottled water. |

Formalities:
Just a passport is required for U.S., Canadian and British passport
holders to enter Morocco. Nationals of other countries should
check entry requirements with the nearest Moroccan National
Tourist Office or Consulate of the Kingdom of Morocco. |

The Moroccan Currency is the dirham.
ATM machines are to be found throughout Marrakech. Foreign
Currency may be converted into Dirhams at La Mamounia 24 hours
a day, seven days a week. All major credit cards are accepted
at La Mamounia (American Express, Visa, Mastercard, Diners
Club and Eurocard). |

Moroccan time is generally 4 hours ahead of U.S. East Coast
time, and one hour behind U.K. time. |
